Dauson… “Dealing” Life with Patience

Dauson was a friendly young man with a calm, easy-going nature that made me feel comfortable right away. He grew up in Lee County, spending much of his childhood outdoors in the quiet community of Bokeelia. His name came from his mother’s favorite TV show, Dawson’s Creek, but she gave it a unique twist — DAUSON — because she wanted it to stand out. And just like his name, Dauson has always been a little different in the best way.

After finishing high school, Dauson began working in the food service industry and has continued in that line of work ever since. Whether at a restaurant or a customer service job, he’s known for his patience and friendly attitude. Even when things get stressful, he has a way of staying calm and treating others with respect.

When he’s not working, Dauson enjoys gaming — board games, video games, and especially card games. He likes that there are so many different ways to play and strategies to learn. Games give him a chance to relax, think, and connect with others.

Dauson knows that his patience can sometimes be a double-edged sword. People have occasionally taken advantage of his kind nature, but he still chooses to see the good in others. One day, he hopes to run his own business, maybe even a restaurant of his own. With his steady attitude and caring spirit, he’s sure to make a success of whatever he sets his mind to.
